What is sandblasting used for?

What grit is best for sandblasting?

The most popular grit is silicon carbide. It’s very hard and abrasive making it one of the most popular choices for cleaning and finishing surfaces.

Is sandblasting dangerous?

Blasting should be done in a well ventilated place, with the proper PPE being used. Without this there is airborne and particular matter being sprayed which can be harmful to people and machinery.
